   @dbeasht: Well, the “so-called lady solo artists” sure are putting out more interesting mainstream material than most of the male solo acts in today’s music scene: Jay Sean, Akon, Jesse McCartney, Jason DeRulo, Sean Kingston, Usher, Iyaz, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber….their sounds all bleed into one another until there’s practically nothing distinguishable. At least when most of the female artists come on the radio, I know who I’m listening to.
